7 december

A coughed and threw up, right after going to bed. Second night in a row. Previous night it happened in the middle of the night. I guess A sweat and got cold... these night sweats.
We skipped the albuterol in the morning, he only coughed a little bit.

OK fish is good, provided it does not have high levels of Hg and you are not alergic. A is not.

Steroid therapy has the potential to interfere with the way the body uses specific nutrients, including calcium, potassium, sodium, protein, and vitamins D and C. May need extra Ca and vitamin D?

for GERD-
- eat low fat foods, avoid deep fried...and overeating, or lying down after a meal.
- limit citrus and tomato products, strong spices, caffeinated drinks, carbonated drinks, fatty foods, chocolate, mint, alcohol or nicotine
- might be caused by medications that are smooth muscle relaxants, such as theophylline, other oral bronchodilators, calcium channel blockers and diazepam

oops we are in a vicious loop!?

we don't eat the weather but anyway:
- Some weather situations that may make asthma symptoms worse include: extremely hot or cold temperatures, windy conditions, changes in the humidity or barometric pressure.

6 december

For the past week A is in a sensitized state.
Some cough in the morning and some in the evening.
Had to up the Fluticasone dose from 110 morning/evening to 220 morning and evening+ albuterol (morning&evening).
So far no full blown asthma.

And this at the time I was thinking to take out the sigulair from the medicine list becaue of some mild but annoying stomach upset and leg pain.

Went to Washington, got a fever that lasted for one day and then got better.
Sunday was was cold.Monday was windy too.

We're back to school, A woke up last night with cough, threw up, better now.

No runny nose but a sensitized state..like asthma is ready to attack...

I keep offering A various teas with lemon and honey....
